      Hello…
Want to run a fiber optic USB link to RSP1A about 30 meters away. Would like to make measurements without conductive wire that may add to or distort antenna measurements. There are fiber optic links that can be used as USB “extension cords” and that is the question – does anybody have experience with fiber optic links and could recommend one that worked for SDRplay? There are simple fiber optic links to ones that appear complex and expensive. Would like to go with what is known to work with SDRplay. Any experience with them would be great guidance. Thanks for helping!

Fiber optic usb cables don’t pass 5 volts. You could use a powered usb hub, or if noise is a concern supply 5 volts from a battery.
