      On my W7 32bit lenovo laptop I had been able to run SDRplay with the rtl2832 dongle.  On this same pc I can make the dongle work with sdrsharp or hdsdr.  However, now when I launch SDRplay I get the message “no available rsps available” etc.  This started being  a problem after a Windows7 update last week so I am suspicious of that.  Checking usb devices it shows rtl2838UHDIR is there.  I do have the extio2832.dll in the my documents folder.  I have tried reboots and plugging the dongle into different usb ports but no effects.

       

      Any suggestions on things to try?

        My bad.  I forgot that to make sdruno work with the extio dongle rtl2832 requires that sdruno be launched by invoking SDRuno.EXTIO.exe not just <i> SDRuno.exe</i>

        all happy now.  Hopefully this will help others who make similar mistakes.
