      I am using SDR Play and SDRUNO on a Windows machine as a panadapter for a Kenwood TS-590SG. I recently installed the virtual comm port adapter for the Kenwood. Now, every time I start the UNO software, it keys the transceiver. Any ideas?

        Try mirroring the omnirig settings Steve applied in this video

        Incorrect DTR/RTS settings (on/on on/off or off/off off/on) in omnirig can cause the issue you described.
