      SoapySDR compatible to supports many SDRs, AM and NFM, live listening, streaming and saving to mp3.

      This is what i use the most for monitoring VHF Marine band channels 24/7. console only so great for low cpu headless use.

      the config files are complex but one you see the pattern they are ok.

        Nice program!  Thanks for putting me on to this.

        I set up a script to display a menu of choices in a console for aprs single channel, p25 public service, ham dmr, analog public service, and others in config files.

        DSDplus (running under WINE), Dire Wolf, Xastir, PDW, and fldigi work well with virtual and analog audio configured with PulseAudio Volume Control.

        It took a while to get the config files just right, with squelch, fft_size, gain, center frequency, frequency, tau, and sample rate, mode, modulation all needing to be adjusted for each use case.
