Just joined up. Long-time ham radio operator, retired electronics design engineer (with a few side foray’s into management, electrical design and the like – got to make a living, you know) and an abiding interest in electronics, radio and the like. Do not own a SDR of any type yet but did do an extensive look at the whole question of digital RF receivers and came to the conclusion that, of all the ‘stuff’ out there, the SDRplay line of modules is at the top of the pack at least in the module line.
