Hi folks, basically, i followed a Youtube video and the instructions at https://www.sdrplay.com/linux-soapy-source/
      I am using Ubuntu 18.04

‘lsusb’ saw the device, but does not identify it by name. I just get a line that says:
      Bus 003 Device 003: ID 1df7:2500
but doesn’t provide a description like it does for my mouse & other usb devices.
I verified that that is the RSP1 by disconnecting, doing lsusb again, reconnecting it, and i get the 2500.
CubicSDR could not see the RSP1 at all at this point.

Then, from the old forum (2018), i found an instruction to add three lines to a blacklist file:
      https://www.sdrplay.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=3600 :
      the /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf file…

      blacklist sdr_msi3101
      blacklist msi001
      blacklist msi2500

Then i re-booted, and found that CubicSDR did show the RSP1. “Yay!” i thought, but when i click
on the entry for devices in CubicSDR, the program immediately crashes. Over and over. No SDR Play.
My RSP1 *does* work perfectly in the Windows application, such as SDR Uno.

My CubicSDR does work for a HackRF and an RTL-SDR.

Thanks for any help. 73 de WN1Z Orrin in Northeast California
