Currently using the rsp1a with dump1090 to collect ADS-B data. No trouble there. I am also running piAware and feeding the data to FlightAware successfully. But, whenever I try to view the local network map to see the plots of planes and trails, I get the following error on an empty map:
“Problem fetching data from dump1090. AJAX call failed (error: Not Found). Maybe dump1090 is no longer running? The displayed map data will be out of date.”
I’m running the SDRPlay image on a pi 4. I am running the pre-installed SDRPlay dump1090. This is possibly the problem. I tried using FlightAware’s dump1090 program, but I get the following error: “rtlsdr: no supported devices found.” I haven’t been able to convince it to recognize the rsp1a, but there must be a way. Does anyone have a workaround to see an aircraft plot?
