I have a discone on my roof with LMR400 into the house. This covers from 30mHZ up to about 1.3 gHZ. I’d like to add the frequencies below 30mHZ using an additional antenna, probably an active loop, also on the roof. However, I’d like to avoid additional coax cable, so am looking for a way to insert the < 30mHZ signal onto the same cable. I’ve been looking for a diplexer that can do that, but haven’t found one that specifically identifies these frequencies.
Anyone doing this? What products are used? Is it feasible? etc..
